OUR HISTORY

Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home was founded in 1924. At that time it was known as the Householder Funeral Home. In 1951 Robert Brucker, Sr. and James Kishler formed a partnership and purchased the firm. In 1974 Jim Brucker, the son of Robert Brucker joined the firm as the second generation. In the year 2000, Jim Brucker's daughters Leslea Brucker-Calvert and Tracy  Brucker- Brewster joined the firm, beginning the third generation of the family owned and operated funeral firm. The Brucker family is proud of its heritage and commitment to the Newark-Licking County community.
