Aaron Scot Humphreys, 40, of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Newark, Ohio, passed away tragically on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. He was born on August 3, 1985, in Newark to Todd and Mary (Gartner) Humphreys.
Aaron was a 2004 graduate of Newark Catholic High School. He continued his education at the University of Tennessee, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Accounting. Aaron's love for the University of Tennessee extended far beyond his years as a student. A proud Volunteer, he remained a loyal and enthusiastic supporter throughout his life, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer on his beloved Vols and share that passion with family and friends.
A man of deep faith, Aaron lived his life guided by his love for God and his commitment to those he cherished most. He was a devoted husband, loving father, treasured son and brother, and loyal friend. Aaron possessed a remarkable ability to make others smile. His quick wit, infectious sense of humor, kind heart, and genuine nature made him instantly likable and deeply loved by all who knew him.
Above all else, Aaron treasured his family. He was a proud and devoted father and husband whose greatest joy was spending time with his children, Samuel and Vivian, and his wife, Kasondra. His unwavering devotion, wise guidance, and deep love will continue to live on in their hearts forever.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 11 years, Kasondra Humphreys; his children, Samuel Humphreys and Vivian Humphreys; his parents, Todd and Mary Humphreys; his sister, Cassia (Victor) Ysaguirre and his niece and nephews, Benicio, Elian, and Liliana; his father-in-law, Sonny (Sandy) Bouldin; his mother-in-law, Krisha (Bill) Paul; his sister-in-law, Lacey (M.J.) Quintanilla and his niece and nephew, Victoria and Thomas; his brother-in-law, Kyle (Emma) Hogan and his nephew, Harvey; his paternal grandmother, Carol Humphreys; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Humphreys; his maternal grandparents, Harold and Marie Gartner; and his aunt, Kathleen Fulk.
