Angela Nichole "Angie" Lane, 49, of Columbus, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1975, in Columbus, the beloved daughter of Terry and Cindy (Snyder) Lane.

Angie was a free spirit with a heart as big as her smile. She was the kind of friend everyone hoped to have—loyal, compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother. Angie adored her son, Journey, and the bond they shared was unbreakable. Together, they loved traveling and creating memories that will live on forever.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Angie is survived by her pride and joy, her son, Journey Nicholas Lane; her mother, Cindy Ann Lane; her sister, Lisa M. (Jimmy) Chinn; nephews, Tyler and Gavin Chinn; aunts, Candy (Steven) Priestas, Kathy Lane, and Pamela (John) Byers; uncle, Dennis E. Snyder; and many cherished cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Jay Lane; maternal grandparents, Joanne and Richard Snyder; and Grandma Bea.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date so that family and friends may gather to honor Angie's memory.
