Barbara L. Wilcox, 75 of Newark passed away at her home on Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was born on June 26, 1948 in Nelsonville to the late Shirley Dale and Mary Elizabeth (Williams) LeMay.

Barb was a graduate of Nelsonville York High School. She was employed at Michaels Industries and Pac-Tec where she retired. She loved feeding the birds, mowing the lawn, gardening and just being outdoors and spending all her time with family. She enjoyed watching the Price is Right, Let's Make a Deal and Walker Texas Ranger. Barb and Butch had the pleasure of raising two granddaughters, Ashleigh and Jordan whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her children, Shawn (Amy Scurlock) Wilcox, Angela (David Kinney) Ponn and Tonia Ponn; grandchildren, Ashleigh Wilcox, Jordan Wilcox, Mackenzie Wilcox, Carey Gard and Bradley Ponn; great-grandchildren, Paxton, Brealeigh, Sawyer, Cannon, Logan, Hennley, Ramzee and Isabelle; and brother, Rick LeMay.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ivan F. "Butch" Wilcox; son, Brian LeMay; brothers, Jack LeMay and Gary LeMay; sisters, Sheila Morgan, Katherine Taylor, Connie LeMay and Debbie Walker.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 from 11-1pm at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, where the funeral service will follow at 1pm with Pastor Brian Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens.
