Bernard Thomas Stuck, age 79, of Newark, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at Altercare of Newark. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on March 7, 1945, to the late Walter F. and Kathryn (Doyle) Stuck.

Bernie loved his family. He enjoyed woodworking, telling stories, music, and working in the yard. After working 22 years as a store manager for Harts, Bernie gained employment at the General Electric Quarts plant in Hebron where he retired after 25 years of service.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carol (Mautz) Stuck; children, Robert P. (Lori) Stuck and Melissa (Chris) Odon; grandchildren, Maisie (Jesse) Holmes, Maddie Stuck, Addie, Cole, and Emily Odon, Amy (Chip) Kinder, Kevin (Courtney) Roberts, Christina (Amanda) Roberts; great-grandchildren, Emmett and Eloise Holmes; sister, Bernardette Spears; sisters-in-law, Ann Mautz, Darlene Stuck, and Billie Stuck.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William "Bill" Stuck and Regis Stuck.

Visitation will be held from 1-3pm and 4-5pm Monday, October 21, 2024, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st, St. Newark, Ohio 43055. A 5pm funeral service will take place immediately following visitation, Pastor James Dewhurst officiating.
