Betty Jane Brown, 99 of Newark passed away on August 19, 2025 at Chapel Grove. She was born on December 22, 1925 in Logan, OH to the late Theodore and Edith (Windle) Goodson.

Jane was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church since 1967.

She is survived by her sons, Roger (Flo) Brown and Mark (Judy) Brown; daughters, Kaye Ann (Joseph) Walsh, Susan (Dennis) Dunlap and Darda Brown; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger M. Brown and great-grandson, Cole Bishop Herrin.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday August 30, 2025 followed by a funeral service at 11am at Christian Apostolic Church, 22 N. 23rd St., Newark with Pastor Keith Sjostrand officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
