Beverlee A. Spires, age 70, of Nashport, passed away on September 22, 2024, at the Clay Gardens Place. Beverlee was born on September 19, 1954, to William Burns and Wilma (Maddox) Wells, in Columbus, Ohio.

Beverlee was a graduate of Brookhaven High School in Columbus and attended Apostolic Bible Institute. She was loved by whoever knew her, she loved her OSU Buckeyes.  Beverlee's favorite shows to watch were Hallmark movies and Jeopardy.  Her addiction was McDonald's frozen Coke with salty french fries. She was a pastor's wife and helped minister to three churches in Ohio: Coshocton, Mt Gilead, and Hilliard. Beverlee loved her pets, Sammy, Little Bit, and Bently. She loved to decorate and did an outstanding job. Her favorite hobby was shopping, listening to music, and making crafts.

Beverlee is survived by her children, Noah James (Colleen Spoltman) Spires and Amber Renee Spires; 6 grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Guisinger, William Cline and Charles Cline; and father, William (Charlene Carter) Burns.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Spires; mother, Wilma (John) Wells; stepmother, Martha Cline Burns; brother, William Daniel "Danny" Burns.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 11 - 12 PM at the Christian Apostolic Church, 22 N. 23rd Street, Newark, Ohio, 43055, where her service will immediately follow at 12 PM with Pastor Keith Sjostrand officiating.

The family would like to thank the Shrivers Hospice for their outstanding hospitality and love. Which was more than expected. They would also like to thank Clay Gardens Assisted Living in Zanesville, this is where she had many friends to mention. While at Clay Gardens she loved playing bingo and the food was over the top for her, especially the desserts as she would pretend that she didn't get hers, hoping to get a second one for later.
