Beverly Jean Kishler, 95, of Newark passed away on April 29, 2024 at Middleton Senior Living in Granville. She was born on January 23, 1929 in Cleveland to the late Ralph K. and Margaret A. (Purcell) Dusseau of Toledo.

She worked for 19 enjoyable years as a secretary at the Owens Corning Science & Technology Center in Granville, where she made many long-lasting friendships. In the 1960s she was the medical secretary for Dr. Kurt Fleisch in Newark. She also volunteered as a reading tutor at several Newark elementary schools, and was a longtime member of Licking Memorial Hospital Twig 4 and Monday Talks.

Beverly loved her family very much, and is survived by her son David (Lynne) Kishler of Granville and Kurt (Julie) Kishler of Cincinnati; grandchildren Blake (Kelly) Kishler of Cincinnati, Emily (Taylor) Krawczewski of Forest Lake, Minn., and Daniel Kishler of Cincinnati; and great-granddaughter, Evelyn Kishler.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Jane Dietrich, of Sandusky.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm with Pastor Casey Wilson officiating. A private inurnment will be held at Forest Cemetery in Toledo at a later date.
