Obituary

Bobby Ann Baughman, 81, of Newark, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center. She was born on December 2, 1944, in Newark to the late Marion and Sarah Leona (Vanatta) Timson.

She was a member of the Neal Avenue United Methodist Church. In her younger years she was active in a card club, bowling league and a member of the Newton Township Women's Auxiliary.

Bobby also loved dancing with her husband and cherished summers spent at the family cottage at Buckeye Lake. She enjoyed shopping, watching her favorite soap operas, and traveling across the country with her husband, where they met many wonderful friends along the way. Above all, Bobby treasured time with her family, who were the center of her world.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard W. Baughman; daughters, Michele (Dennis) Moran and Pam (Rick) Gayheart; brother-in-law, Robert W.
