Bonnie Fern Taylor, 81 of Newark passed away on February 27, 2026 at the Inn at Chapel Grove. She was born on August 18, 1944 in Newark, OH to the late John Ramsey and Emma Fern (Henderson) Houdeshell.

Bonnie graduated from Newark High School in 1962 and was a realtor for Woeste Real Estate. She had a love for art and enjoyed traveling with her husband, Denny.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Dennis R. Taylor; siblings, Wanda Reeder, John (Linda) Houdeshell, Fred (Cindy) Houdeshell and Tim Houdeshell; sister-in-law, Tanya Houdeshell; nieces and nephews that she loved and supported as her children, Laura Page, Greg (Stephanie) Reeder, Brian (Ashley) Houdeshell, Aaron Houdeshell, Tara Houdeshell, Angela Houdeshell, Stephanie (Grant) DeBevoise, Adam Houdeshell, Justin (Mary) Page, Julie Page, Azmo Rinsler and Castle Rinsler; and many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Houdeshell; and brother-in-law, Gary Reeder.

Memorial calling hours will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.
