Brenda Lee (Souders) Thomas, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Brenda was born September 16, 1951 to the late Betty (Wilbur) Souders and Arnold Souders.

Brenda was a graduate of Wellston High School in Wellston, Ohio. She worked at Anomatic for 27 years before retiring in 2020.

She is survived by her children, Larry Ray (Abby) Thomas, Tara Thomas and Corey Thomas; her beloved grandchildren, Kinley, Ignatius and Genevieve; siblings, Jeri Pope, Mike Souders, Debbie Finn, Cindy Souders, Mark Souders, Jeff Souders, Melinda Barton and Renee Souders; many nieces and nephews; fur-baby, Midnight; and best friend, Chris Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Souders; and nephew, Chauncey Immell.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Karen Bowen, Courtney Woodgeard and Jessica Landram.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 2-4 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N, 21st. St., Newark where a memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor Trey Freeman officiating.
