Bruce Rodger Dye, 35, of Heath, died Thursday, February 29, 2024 as a result of motor vehicle accident. He was born September 16, 1988 in Columbus to Bruce Edward Dye and Rhonda Lynn DeWitt.

Bruce graduated from Heath High School class of 2006 and then graduated from Lincoln Technical College. He enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his father Bruce (Kim) Dye; half brothers, Brennan Dye, Ryan, Roger, and Ty DeWitt; half sister, Jenny DeWitt; step brother, Jeremy (Sammy) Merrill; step sisters, Jessica (Jeremy) Ross and Jennifer (Bryan) Merrill; step father, Dave Tabler; maternal grandparents, Roger and Virginia DeWitt; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and best friends, Judd Dials and Randy York.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda DeWitt; and paternal grandparents, Jim and Connie Dye.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 4-6 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, where the funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating.
