Carl James Loar, age 62, of Newark, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Ohio State University Hospital. He was born in Tiffin, Ohio on August 8, 1962, to the late James Taylor and Carol Irene (Williams) Loar.

Carl was a God fearing man who enjoyed volunteering in his community.

He is survived by his siblings, Sarah Tabella and Harold Loar; nieces, Elizabeth, (Hays Hill) McNamara and Ashley Loar; great-nieces and nephew, Kamran, Sophia, and Paizlee Smith; friend, Pat Arnett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Loar and long-time friend, Teresa Ebert.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-4pm Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Newark Eagles, 52 Forry St, Newark, Ohio 43055.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carl's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 250 E Main St, Newark, Ohio 43055.
