Our beautiful Mother is reunited with her identical twin sister, Arlene and in the arms of Jesus. She went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2024. Mom was born November 21,1939 in Newark, Ohio and married the love of her life, Harry Agin on March 22, 1958.
Mom was a hair stylist for over 50 years before retiring from The Hair 'Em. She was an AMAZING cook and loved baking cookies. She will be remembered for sharing her creativity and how happy she was decorating at home during the holidays.
Mom always enjoyed gifting others, but she was the true gift; the matriarch of our family – respected and loved by all of us. Our hearts are broken by her passing but comforted by her being whole again and in no pain. She is dancing in the sky and singing with the Angels…
Carleen is survived by Harry Agin, her loving husband of 66 years; children, Debbie Eckard-Agin, Kim (Russ) Harris, Karen Barclay, and Roger (Valarie Radcliff) Agin; grandchildren, Nate (Michelle) Harris, Adam (Brittany)Ankrum, Brittney (Jason) Yantis, Dustin (Taylor Tackett) Barclay, Zach (Jessica) Harris, Jessica (David) Phillips, Sean Jefferson, Kristie (Jonathan Berjarano) Agin, Mackenzie (Ben Muncy) Brooks, Brooklyn (Kalvin) Bowers, and Kendall (Jeremy) Burgoon; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Chloe, Logan, Carter, Landyn, Ayden, Jayna, Ava, Peyton, Caleb, Naomi, Zayne, Nolyn, Norah, Colton, Paisley, Janie, Braden, Elijah, Ahna, Leland, Jeremiah, Harrison, Kynsley & Brynlee (twins), Jacob, Zeke, Keira, Kainen, Jessica, Mallori, Lizzie, Kyla, and one on the way; brother, Larry Spiker; brother-in-law, Leo Agin, and sister-in-law, Shirley Crawford. Mom also leaves behind a wealth of friendships, one of 70 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sally and Duane Spiker; twin sister, Arlene Valenzuela; brother, Gary Spiker; son-in-law, Rob Barclay; grandson, Josh Harris; great-granddaughter, Aurea, and her beloved Yorkie, Angel. The family wants to thank her 4th floor care team during her hospital stay and the staff at Arlington. To everyone at Hospice, we are forever grateful for your many blessings while Mom was in your care. You all are true Angel caregivers from God. You were there for all of us; we would not have made it without you.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Carleen's name to Hospice of Central Ohio.
