Carol Ann Blackburn, 88 of Heath passed away on October 5, 2026 at Newark Nursing and Rehab. She was born on May 15, 1938 in Zanesville, OH to the late Leo Albert and Bessie Mae (Feldner) Williams.

Ann graduated in 1956 from Zanesville High School and Bethesda Nursing School in 1959. She was an RN and worked at many hospitals. She married her second husband, William Blackburn in 1968.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Niels (Marloes van Asten) Connell, Zoë (Ruud van der Heijden) Connell and Jens (Madelon Pijnenburg) Connell; niece, Beth Shively; nephew, Tom (Mary Jo) Payne; cousin, Sally Bryan and her son, Keith; her dear friends, Margie and Paul Sindelar and Linda Jones.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel Connell and Daniel Blackburn; son, Timothy Joel Connell; sister, Janet Fry; and nephews, Roger and Billy Payne.

No services will be held at this time. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park.
