Carolina Ann Thomas

Carolina Ann Thomas, age 67, of Howard, passed away on May 26, 2026. Carolina was born on January 4, 1959, in Mt. Vernon, to Graden L. and Betty L. (Lowe) Thomas.

She was a devoted servant of the Lord whose faith guided every part of her life. She never met a stranger, welcoming everyone with kindness, compassion, and an open heart. She was also a passionate advocate and speaker for people with disabilities, using her voice to encourage understanding, inclusion, and hope for others. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering dedication to helping those around her left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Ann is survived by her father, Graden L. Thomas; siblings, Clayton (Brenda Penley) Thomas, Viola “Sis” Snelling, James (Christa Gutridge) Thomas, Mary (Roger) Salmons, Benny (Chris) Thomas, Janet (Robert) Helmick, Kay (Thomas Booth) Thomas Walker; special friend, Mike Smith; many, nieces, nephews, cousin, aunts and uncles.

In addition to her mother, Betty L. Thomas; she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Fred Snelling.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 5 – 8 pm at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home. Her service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, at 11 am with Brother Matt Schwartz officiating. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Ann’s name to the Church of God at Bladensburg, 4032 McLarnan Rd, Bladensburg, OH 43005.
