Obituary

Carolyn Lucille (Hamilton) Johnson, age 83, of Ravenna, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Born on August 1, 1942, in Dailey, West Virginia, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Arkie Clark and Leah E. (Louk) Hamilton. She was the youngest of nine children and was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Robert Hamilton, Arkie Hamilton, Herb Hamilton, Clair Wooddell, Deloris Tacy, Margaret Lambert, Vonda Marstiller, and Ellen Alderman.

Carolyn's greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with those she loved, tending her flower and vegetable gardens, and caring for the beautiful log home she and her husband built together. After her husband's passing in 2021, she continued to lovingly maintain their home and gardens, honoring the life they shared.

She also enjoyed traveling, especially visiting family, and later looked forward to vacations with her daughter and son-in-law.

A longtime member of the Ravenna Church of Christ, Carolyn faithfully served through the church's Food Bank Ministry. Her strong faith in God guided her life and was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Kenneth Johnson and his wife, Sheri, of Garrettsville, Ohio, and their children, Stephanie (Thomas), Austin, and Casey; and by her daughter, Patricia Fuller and her husband, Nolan, of Newark, Ohio, and their daughters, Leah Patton (Aric) and Dana Fuller (Jeff).

Carolyn will be remembered for her steadfast faith, love for her family, generous heart, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her. heart, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her.
