Carolyn Jean McIntyre, 76, of Newark, died Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Embassy of Newark. She was born August 12, 1948 in Zanesville to the late Walter Dean and Bonnie Jean (Landis) McIntyre.

Carol was a graduate of Starlight School. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and worked at LICO. Carol enjoyed giving candy to the kids at church, shopping and going "downtown". She had a love for flowers and babies.

She is survived by her sister, Anita (Robert) Young; brother, Steve (Tama) McIntyre; uncle, Nick (Connie) Landis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, David, Timothy and Ronnie McIntyre.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carol to Hospice of Central Ohio and/or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4-7 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2486 Newark Granville Rd., Granville, OH 43055. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
