Carolyn D. Wells, 77, of Newark passed away on April 26, 2024 at the Selma Markowitz Center. She was born on December 10, 1946 in Elyria, OH to the late Lehman M. and Elma L. (Smith) Wells.

Carolyn was an OB LPN at Licking Memorial Hospital and later a home health nurse. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her brothers, Kenny (Linda) Wells and Terry (Samantha) Wells; sister, Wendy (Barry) Lewis; brother-in-law, Jeff Murrell; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Murrell.

Family viewing will be held from 10:00-10:45am on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Graveside service will follow at 11am at Wilson Cemetery with Pastor David Beverly officiating.
