Charles "Craig" Sessor, 77, of Heath, OH, passed away peacefully December 22, 2024 at Hospice of Central Ohio located in Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, OH.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Craig was born in Newark, Ohio on September 15, 1947. He graduated from Newark High School, attended Ohio State University and continued on to receive a bachelors degree in business from Franklin University.

Craig was married to Linda (Hickman) Dorsey-Sessor on August 24, 1996. They were married for twenty-eight years.

Craig worked as a hot metal supervisor at Holophane for thirty years. He enjoyed traveling and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. He was a Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam era, from 1969-1975. He was a member of Neal Avenue United Methodist Church, Moose International and Elks USA.

Craig is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Brendon Sessor of Columbus, OH, Jennifer (Jon) Sanderson of Nashville, TN, and Christine Smothers of Delaware, OH; sisters, Grace Ann (Bob) Mohler and Christine Lala of Marysville, OH, Nancy (Bob) Richardson of Newark, OH; many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and loving cousins, Bud (Carol) and Mike (Mary) Carlson; and several other cousins.

Craig is preceded in death by his father, Charles R. "Chuck" Sessor; mother, Joan (Walters) Sessor; and son, John Sessor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.
