Charles L. "Charlie" Hixson, 84, of Newark, died Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center. He was born May 5, 1940 in Fairfax, MO to the late Myrald Hixson and Elaine (Pemberton) Reberry. He was raised in Tarkio, MO.

Charlie was Baptist by faith and retired from Owens Corning. He enjoyed fishing and loved antique cars.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl L. Badgett; granddaughters, Katina L Badgett, Cassandra L. Badgett and Jessica Hixson-Brown; three great grandchildren; and three nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Pemberton Hixson Reberry; father, Myrald S. Hixson; step father, Howard Reberry; brother, Jack A. Hixson; daughter, Deborah L. Hixson; son, Forrest (Jon) Hixson; and nephew, Greg Hixson.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charlie to the American Cancer Society.

No funeral services will be held at this time. Burial services will take place in Charlie's hometown of Tarkio, MO.
