Charlotte Mae (Moody) Burch

A Celebration of Life for Charlotte Mae (Moody) Burch, 67, of Bridgman, MI, formerly of Heath, OH, will be held at 1:00 p.m., June 12, 2026, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 732 Hebron Rd., Heath, OH, 43056, with Pastor Chris Adams officiating.

Charlotte passed away January 31, 2026, in Chicago, IL. She was born September 3, 1958, in Lancaster, OH, to Robert and Barbara (Arent) Moody.

Charlotte attended Cedar Heights School and, after moving to Heath in 1970, graduated from Heath High School in 1976. She excelled academically and received the John Philip Sousa Award for superior musicianship. Following high school, Charlotte worked for Park National Bank and Southgate Development. After marrying her husband Gordon, their family moved to Michigan, where they made their home for more than 40 years. Throughout her career, she held management positions with several companies. Music was Charlotte’s true passion. An accomplished musician, she played the flute and piccolo for more than 30 years as a dedicated member of the Southshore Concert Band and the Saint Joseph Municipal Band.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Gordon Burch; children, Corinne Burch-Spitzer and Ryan Burch; grandchildren, Lily Zilke and Griffin Spitzer; brother, James (Leslie) Moody; sister, Cheryl (Jeff) Maransky; nephew, Andrew (Lindsay) Moody; niece, Lauren (Michael) DiBenedetto; great nieces, Bella and Harper; great-nephews, R.J. and Ethan; 2 aunts, and many cousins.
