Obituary

Charlotte Louise Pearson, 93, passed away from this life into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on February 15th, 2024 at Hearth Brook Assisted Living in Newark Ohio. She was born on March 23, 1930 in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Nelson Titus and Signe (Rice) Titus.

Charlotte's passion was dancing and she shared her passion with her husband Fred Pearson whom she married on May 30, 1952 at St. Mathews Church, Goffstown, NH. They were members of the Allemande Eights square dance club and the Queen City Promenaders. When they were stationed in Bermuda they were members of the MidOcean Promenaders, a square dance club they started on Kindley Air Force Base. They also were members of the Colony Squares. Charlotte also loved line dancing and clogging.

Charlotte was employed by the US Civil Service as a telephone operator at Youngstown Air Base, Ohio and Naval Air Station, Bermuda. She was also employed as an operator at NH Insurance Group. Charlotte was also an avid NASCAR fan and loved to travel the circiut with her friend and fellow fan Anne Marie Gamache.

Charlotte was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Fred, who passed on June 19,1988. Her parents Nelson and Signe. Her brothers Harold and Robert. Her daughter Nancy Pearson. Charlotte deeply loved her family and was very proud of them all. She is survived by her sister Marilyn (Robert) Ellsay, Lowell MA, her children, Elaine (Michael) Montgomery, Girard OH, Carol (Joel) Bequeath, Manchester NH, Paula (Guy) Fickes, Warren OH, George (Carolyn) Pearson, Heath OH, Joseph (Julie) Pearson, Ft. Meyers FL, along with 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Saturday March 2nd from 12:00pm-2:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 2:00pm all services will be held at the French and Rising Funeral Home 17 South Mast Street Goffstown NH 03045. The burial will be held in the spring at Westlawn Cemetery, Goffstown NH.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hearth Brook Assisted Living in Newark, OH for the care they gave Charlotte.
