Charlotte Sue Jones

A funeral service for Charlotte Sue Jones, 73, of Newark, OH, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday January 26, 2023, at Brucker and Kishler funeral home. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens.  Family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Charlotte passed away January 20, 2024, at her residence. She was born April 1, 1950, in Zanesville, OH, to late Delbert and Elogene (Morgan) Baughman

Charlotte was an RN nurse for many years and retired from SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in IL. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play sports. She enjoyed rescuing animals over the years.

She is survived by her son, Matthew (Kasey) Sheets; grandchildren, Lane (Sheyanne) Sheets, Samantha Sheets, and Kinsley Sheets, and step-grandson, Legend McDonald.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Brian C. Jones, M.D.
