Cheryl Ann (Lieber) Schmoll gained her wings in heaven on January 22, 2024, surrounded by her family and Northside Church friends.

Cheryl was born to Don and Judy Lieber on January 24, 1968, in Newark, Ohio. She graduated from Utica High School in 1986 and was a photographer like no other. Her life's work can be best described by CAS Inc. Everything she did, she did for others—her family first, her church, her friends and anyone who crossed her path.

She was the fiercest Momma Bear, our biggest fan in the stands, Dabble's executive assistant and partner-in-crime, Auntie M's wonder twin, the second pea in Papaw's pod and cardboard box supplier, the funnest neighborhood Mom, Furbaby grandma and Dad's Sweetie.

She loved shopping, yard sales at her brother Michael's, music and telling stories.

We can only imagine her crown and the celebration with all her friends and family in heaven. There will be brownies for everyone, and if there are road signs in heaven, she has already called to pick one up.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 32 years, David Schmoll, daughters Haylie and Ashley Schmoll, brother Michael (Denise) Lieber, sister Melissa Lieber (Joe McCoy), aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be at Northside Church of Christ, 4427 Marion Rd. NE, Newark, Ohio 43055. The family will welcome friends on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. and Friday at 11 a.m. The funeral will begin at noon, with burial services following, pastor Rocky Smith and Ray Blakely officiating.
