Constance N. Ward

A funeral service for Constance N. Ward, 96, of Westerville, OH, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Dave Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Constance passed away May 25, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born April 6, 1929, in Dayton, OH, to the late John H. and Maria B. (McCollum) Chapman.

Constance retired from the Newark Air Force Base. She had a truly fulfilling long life. She cherished spending time with her family and was passionate about reading.

She is survived by her son, Timothy (Jo Ellen) Ward; daughter, Deborah (Steven) Goldsmith; sister, Joyce Kuhn; grandchildren, Jillian Morrison, Sarah (Chris) Clayton, Holly (Nick) Dangler, Rebecca Underwood, Timothy (Rachel) Ward, and Ashley (Amanda Reinstetle) Goldsmith; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and honorary daughter, Karen Johnston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin "Red" L. Ward; sister, Bernice Lowe, and brother, Richard Chapman.
