Dale McArtor, age 94, of Newark, passed away on September 4, 2024, at his residence. Dale was born on July 9, 1930, to the late Noble and Pearl (Gearhart) McArtor, in Hanover, Ohio.

He was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and was a Perry Twp Trustee. He retired from Owens Corning in July of 1985.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Linda McArtor; children, Doug McArtor, Connie McArtor, Justin Trusler, Heather (Jason) Danna, and John Willey; grandchildren, Tracy McArtor, BJ McArtor, Ashley Evans and Nikki McArtor; numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Bob (Roxanne) McArtor; grandson, Devon McArtor; siblings, Esther Hite, Irene Boyd, Dorothy Smith, Evelyn Kidd, Carol McArtor, Paul McArtor, Wayne McArtor; and first wife, Ginny McArtor.

Family will receive friends on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 4 -7 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. His service will follow on Tuesday, at 11 AM with Pastor Courtney Williams officiating. The burial will take place in Smith Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Dale's memory to Hospice of Central Ohio.
