Danny L. Lane

A funeral service for Danny L. Lane, 74, of Hebron, OH, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Newark Living Hope Community Church, with Pastor Jon Earls officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Newark Living Hope Community Church, 8135 Mount Vernon Rd., St. Louisville, OH.

Dan passed away June 30, 2025. He was born on August 10, 1950.

Dan retired after 30 years from Big Bear. Dan had deep family values and a high work ethic. He found immense joy in serving others, loving his family and being outdoors. He volunteered countless hours at his church. He was a man of few words; an example of a "quiet" leader - steady, honest, and stood strong in his faith and his life testified to his impeccable reputation. He was a man of God, whose undeniable character preceded him.

Dan is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anita I. (Vaughn) Lane; sons, Jared (Mandy) Lane and Justin (Monica) Lane; grandchildren, Mikayla, Jacob, Morgan, and Sophie; brother, Dean (Mary) Lane; sister, Denise Lane, and several nieces and nephews.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Barbara (Decker) Lane.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Newark Living Hope Community Church.
