Darrell Franklin Daniel, age 79, of Columbus, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at Altercare North Rehabilitation Center in Newark, Ohio. He was born on March 7, 1945, in Ironton, Ohio to the late Thurman and Jettmae Daniel.

Darrell proudly served in Vietnam as a member of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Rita (Hurt) Daniel; daughter, Staci Daniel; grandchildren, Bradley and Paul Michael Hurt, Tiffany (Jack) Butts, and Tia Daniel; great-grandchildren, Audrina Daniel and Jennevesia Hurt; daughter-in-law, Nicole Hurt; brother, Ronald Daniel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Shane Hurt; granddaughter, Shanna Hurt.

In accordance with Darrell's wishes, no services will be held.
