David C. Hurd, age 65, of Newark, passed away on June 23, 2025. David was born on December 19, 1959, in Newark, to the late Carl and Barbara (Barnes) Hurd.

He enjoyed fishing with his sons, spending time with his friends and going to the shooting range.

David is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Hurd; children, Nathan and Tyler Hurd, Ashlei Ernberger; and sister, Pat Bodle.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Hurd.

There will be no services held at this time.
