David E. Jones, age 73, of Thornville, passed away on November 16, 2024, at the Fair Hope Hospice. David was born on June 2, 1951, to the late Chester Earl and Jessie Lee (Sexton) Jones, in Fairborn, Ohio.

He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, boating and riding his motorcycle. David also loved his pets and was an animal lover.

He is survived by his wife, Laura L. Jones; children, Christine Jones, Becky Jones; grandchildren, Kayla (Jake) Cunningham, Chandler (Jayme) Harper, Taylor (Glenn) Groh, Kyle (Josie) Harper, Branden (Kamryn) Barnett; 12 great grandchildren; and sister, Diana (Gus) Singleton.

There will be no services held at this time.
