In Loving Memory of David Kostelich

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of longtime Buckeye Lake resident, David Kostelich, who passed away on June 16, 2025, in Newark, Ohio, surrounded by his loving family.

David was born on August 2, 1949, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Mary Kostelich and Frank Kostelich. He graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1967 and went on to attend West Virginia University, where he proudly played as an offensive lineman for the Mountaineers football team from 1967 to 1971.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sondra (Smith) Kostelich; his daughters, Arianne Ahlvin and Kimberly Kostelich; and his cherished grandsons, Jacob, Caleb, Jaethen, Connor, and Jordan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
