David A. Way, age 65, of Newark, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center. He was born in Newark on August 16, 1958, to the late Richard and Linda (Snelling) Way.

A 1977 graduate of Newark High School, he enjoyed listening to NPR programs focusing on health, religion, or politics. David was an avid reader who had a strong faith and loved growing different kinds of peppers.

He is survived by his sisters, Lisa Posey and Jennifer Way (Dan Wilmer) ; special friends, Jim and Charlene Jenkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Todd Way; brother-in-law, Jimmy Posey.

Visitation will be held from 6-7pm Saturday, June 22, 2024, followed by a 7pm funeral service at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st, St. Newark, Ohio 43055, Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating.
