Deanna Jean Richards, 64, of Newark, died Monday, May 25, 2026 at her home. She was born December 10, 1961 in Downey, CA to the late David and Barbara (Pedtrotti) Richards.

Deanna proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1981 to 1987. She was a dedicated government employee who retired from Defense Finance and Accounting in Columbus, where she formed many lasting friendships throughout her career. Deanna was a loving aunt and great-aunt who cherished her family and the special bonds she shared with them.

She is survived by her sisters, Tammy Richards and Michele Richards; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Kim Richards and Tari Cline.

No funeral services will be held.
