Debra "Debi" J. Waters, 69 of Hebron, OH passed away at home on April 21, 2024. Debi was born and raised in Columbus, OH. She spent most of her life being a mother and homemaker. She earned a degree in Criminal Justice and worked helping troubled youth. She also worked for the Licking County Aging Program and loved helping the elderly.

Debi had a fun loving spirit. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and shopping online. She was very family oriented and cherished the time spent with family, grandchildren and friends. The love she had for her family and friends did not waiver. Debi will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by her father, Levi Waters; her mother, Sylvia Marcum; sister, Christy Lovelady; and brother, Michael Waters. Survived by her loving companion of 24 years, Dennis Lowery; brother, Bill Waters; sister, Sharon (Larry) Veth; daughters, Renee' (Daryl) Wamsley, Deanna (Steve) Hampton and Sara (Coby) Robb; grandsons, Andrew, Kehnan and Landon; granddaughters, Hali, Kensie and Addie; great-granddaughters, Kira, Sadie and Tinley; many other family members and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Central Ohio for the compassionate care Debi received throughout the last year; Chaplain Brian Humphreys and nurse Kim Davis for years of care, support and friendship.

Family will receive friends for visitation from 3-4:30pm Sunday, April 28, 2024 with a service to follow at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, OH 43055. Family and friends are welcome to join us for a celebration of life following the service.
