On August 17, 2026 Delbert “Lee” Cline gained his wings and was called home to Heaven. Born June 14, 1950 in Shelby, Ohio to Stella Cline and Delbert Mynhier Lee spent his early life in the Mansfield, Ohio area. After the passing of his Mom, Stella, Lee was taken care of by his grandmother Albirta Reese. Lee was an employee of Richland Newhope Industries until 1985 when he moved to Newark, Ohio to be cared for by the amazing staff of CSS Ohio.
Lee was a great man to all that knew him and would brighten any room he walked into. He enjoyed his trips to the beach and to sporting events with the amazing staff and friends of CSS. The Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes were his favorite sports teams and if he wasn’t listening to a game he was very involved in watching Law & Order SVU.
Lee will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him including his cousin Julie (John) Wilcox, his roommates Adam & Rick, and Deb & Frank who always included Lee in all celebrations within the home. And ALL the amazing staff of CSS Ohio . Lee is also survived by nephews Tim Reese of Goose Creek, SC, Brian Reese of Powell, Ohio, Cousins Mike (Jenny) Carroll, Joe (Kelli) Cyrus, Blake (Kayla) Cyrus, Luke (Emma) Cyrus. Carolyn (Reese) Ousley. Lee was preceded in death by his mom Stella (1969), Grandma Reese (1985),Uncle Emil & Aunt Clarice Carroll and brother Tim Reese (2018).
There are not enough words that can be said about the amazing staff of CSS, Kate, Lisa, Mike and so many more amazing people. The family wishes to thank CSS & Staff for all the amazing adventures that Lee had during his life. Also many thanks to Riverside Hospital & Ohio Hospice House for the wonderful care provided to Lee in his final days.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and private burial will take place where Lee will finally be with his family in Mansfield Cemetery.
