Dennis D. "Denny" Hess, 68, of Newark, died Friday, October 11, 2024. He was born December 27, 1955 in Newark to the late Ray and Ardath (Woodruff) Hess.

Denny worked for 38 years at Owens Corning where he retired. He loved music and riding his Harley. He loved watching football and NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debra; children, Danielle Velasquez and Dylan Hess; grandchildren, Jaden, Tristan, Evan and Julian Velasquez and Carter Hess; sister, Donna Minarchin; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jim, Daryl, Davey and Doug Hess; and sister, Dee Hempleman.

No funeral services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
