Dianne Lynne Jones, 76, of Newark, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at her home. She was born July 12, 1948 in Reading, PA to the late Curtis and Barbara (Morrow) Gerhart.

Dianne enjoyed being outdoors; whether it was bird watching, golfing, tending to her garden, or traveling with her husband to destinations such as Yellowstone, Hawaii and Alaska. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Darel; daughter, Stephanie (James Grady) Green; grandson, Timothy Wynkoop; brother, Paul Gerhart; sister-in-law, Karen Jones; and her beloved cat, Little Bit.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Jennifer Geer; and brother, Peter Gerhart.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 12:00- 2:00 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. A graveside service will follow visitation at Wilson Cemetery.
