Dolores "Dee" McCormick, 78, of Newark, died Friday, July 18, 2025. She was born May 23, 1947 in Texas to the late Phillip and Dorothy Mae (Flippo) Hall.

Dee was a free spirit with a heart full of love. She had a deep affection for animals and found great joy in playing games and Bingo. Dee especially treasured the time spent with her dear friends Teresa, John, and Dan, whose companionship meant the world to her.

Above all, Dee was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose love for her family knew no bounds. Her warm and spirited nature made her a joy to be around, and she cherished every moment shared with those she loved. Dee's kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela (Denny) Barker, April (Tim) Rollison, Tammy McCormick, Missy Vogeli and Shannon Jenkins; grandchildren, Kimberly Lichnerowicz, Stephanie Garrett, Cassie Rollison, Kayla (Jesse) Fitzgerald, Phillip Rollison, Jacob Vogeli, Jonathan (Kali) Hilliard, Whitney (Jonathan) Paden and Treay Myers; great grandchildren, Trinten, Brysen, Jaden, Trace, Desirai, Hazel, Vincent, Jackson, Karsten, Blake, Nathan, Zoe, Sethan, Devon, Priscilla, Jasmine and Rochelle; and sisters, Mary Lemmon, Sandy Nonack and Kathy Boutell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Jo Thompson, Judy Tomlinson and Penny Hall.

Private services for the family will be held.
