Donald E. Downhour, Sr., age 72, of Newark, passed away on February 7, 2025. Donald was born on December 22, 1952, in Newark, to the late Cecil and Patricia Downhour.

He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and was a real handyman. Donald also enjoyed sitting on his front porch doing crossword puzzles.

He is survived by his children, Dale (Sherri Foreman) Downhour, Donald E. (Tasha) Downhour, Jr., David (Raven) Downhour, Charlene Ross and Christina Ross; bonus daughter, Giggles, Amy (Mark) Stiles; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; caretaker and partner, Dianna Lightle; brother, John Downhour and sister, Donna Queen.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Thompson.
