Donald Preece, age 77, of Alexandria, passed away on October 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born on June 24, 1948, in Martin County, KY, to the late Zellars and Norma (Moore) Preece.

He was a full and faithful servant of the Lord, since 1975, and was a member of the Licking County Church of God. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating. He always loved building and doing carpentry work and had his own business for many years.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Rosetta M. Preece; children, Jim (Georgette) Preece, Paula (Scott) Toler; grandchildren, Misty (Hunter) Skaggs, James Preece and Charlie Preece, Amanda Toler and Billie Nicole Toler; great grandchildren, Madelyn and Hannah Skaggs, Carsyn Preston, Elliot Grau, Jackson and Sawyer Shaffer, Mikey Valentine, Lincoln Booth; brother, Paul Preece.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Hershel, Lloyd and Charlie Preece; sisters, Vernedith Spence, Arlene Moore and Sue Moore.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 5 - 7 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. His service will immediately follow at 7 with Jesse R. Jewell, Sr. officiating.
