Donald Wayne "Donnie" Athey, 64, of Newark died Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center. He was born October 6, 1960 in Newark to the late William Athey Sr. and Ruth Duff.

Donnie loved his friends and family dearly.

He is survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Jack.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Newark Memorial Gardens.
