Dorothy L. Ridenbaugh, 76 of Newark passed away on August 19, 2024 at Mt. Carmel East. She was born on September 25, 1947 in Elizabeth, PA to the late John E. and Mildred (Belcher) Anthony.

Dorothy was a member of Christian Life Center. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, Buckeye Lake Seniors, Heritage Silver Club, Heart to Heart, Young at Heart, Southern Cruisers Riding Club Chapter 112 and Eagle Wings Motorcycle Club Chapter O. She was a volunteer at The Lookup Center.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Teddy Ridenbaugh; her children, Jerry (Susan) Stretton, Mary Franks, Sharon Stretton and Lindsay Ridenbaugh. Dorothy's (son Jerry) grandchildren are Steven Holmer with great-granddaughter, Emily Pope, Michael Rojas, Kristina (Forest) Mitchell with great-granddaughter, Claire, Sarah Stretton and Jessica Stretton. Dorothy's (daughter Mary) grandchildren are Zack Franks with great-grandchildren, Presley and Sutton. Josh Franks (Ali Smith and Andrew) with great-grandchildren, Josey and Rowen. Cody Franks (Matthew Masters and Owen) with great-grandchildren, Rylee, Grayson and Asher. Dorothy's (daughter Lindsay) grandchildren are Anthony Angeles, Iyanna Crumpton and Kyleyah Ridenbaugh. She is also survived by her siblings, Carl, Clyde, Millie, Joy and Betty; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Larry, Clara Mae, Paul, Henry and John.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Christian Life Center, 665 Linnville Rd., Heath. A celebration of life will follow at 11am with Pastor Michael Ensey officiating.
