Doug Cramer, 67, of Heath, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his home. He was born November 22, 1956 in Newark to the late Harold Dean and Ella Mae (Dyar) Cramer.

Doug was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from the Licking County Highway Department after 25 years of dedicated service. He loved being outdoors, tending to his vegetable garden, cheering on the Buckeyes and Browns, and spending time with his German Shepherd, Ruger.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherry; daughter, Stacy Nichol (Kenny) Rice; son, Brian (Amber) Cramer; grandchildren, Kori Dowell, Kylie Rice, Mason (Haley) Rice, Bella Cramer, and Haylen Cramer; great grandchildren, Max Hamilton and Erielle Bowers; sister, Kim (Randall) Krajewski; niece, Jessica Krajewski; great niece, Gabriella; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Doug to Zusman Hospice ℅ Wexner Heritage Village, 1151 College Ave., Columbus, OH 43209.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 from 12-2 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark where a memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm with military honors presented by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
