Douglas Eugene Ford, Sr, age 65, of Newark, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born in Newark on March 25, 1959, to Roberta Jean (Shull) Ford and the late Ralph Dale Ford.

Douglas is survived by his children, Nicole Ford, Douglas Ford, Jr, Matthew (Sylvia) Ford, Alissa Ford (James Walters), and Mackenzie Ford; siblings, Janet (Daniel) Hughes, Marsha (Robert) Pfeifer, David Ford, and Kris (Carrie) Ford; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Patricia Ford, Stanley Ripple, and Ralph Steven Ford; sister-in-law, Lisa Schenk Ford.

A celebration of life will take place at 2pm Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the Newark Druids, 19 W Harrison St, Newark, Ohio 45055, Pastor Jim Addy officiating.
