Douglas Lawrence Pound, age 67, of St. Louisville, passed away peacefully at his residence on December 28, 2024. Doug was born on September 9, 1957, to the late Frederick Pound and Dorothy (Courson) Monroe, in Newark.

He proudly served in the US Navy for 30 years. After his service to his country, he drove for himself as a truck driver. Doug loved spending time with his family and enjoyed all animals.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy L. Pound; son, Shane Coleman; brothers, Steve (Susan) Pound, Mike Pound; sisters, Sherry Powell, Patty Grannon; stepsisters, Kathy, Karen, Barb, Mary; many, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Doug is preceded in death by his daughter, Holly Pound; mother, Dorothy (George) Monroe; and father, Frederick Pound.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 11 – 12 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, where his service will immediately follow at 12 PM with Pastor Carol Hall.
