Douglas J Raftery

A celebration of Life for Douglas J. Raftery, age 59, of St Louisville, OH, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2026, at White Sparrow Events, 675 Heath Rd., Heath, Oh 43056.

Doug passed away on December 9, 2025. Douglas was born on April 14, 1966, in Salem, Oregon to D. Richard Raftery and Johanna (Skinner) Hall.

Doug was a proud United States Army veteran and a lifelong factory worker. At the time of his passing, he was employed by THK. He was a dedicated member of Newark Moose Lodge #499 and Buckeye Lake Moose Lodge #2434. Doug was a loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes and found great joy in gardening.

Doug is survived by his mother, Johanna (Frank) Hall; siblings, Mark (Lisa) Raftery, John Raftery, and Kathy (Tad) Ford; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bryan Raftery.
