Greg passed away September 29, 2026, at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital. He was born January 13, 1972, in Columbus, OH, to the late Joseph Harmon and Ona Mae (Sparks) Orr.
Greg worked alongside his wife to create a place of healing at Orr Naturopathic Center, where he was known for walking around barefoot earning the nickname The Barefoot Naturopath. He was passionate about caring for his patients, many of whom became like an extended family to him. Above all, Greg was a devoted husband and loving dad who cherished his family dearly.
Greg found great peace and happiness in the outdoors and on his farm. He loved spending time on his property, working in his barn, mowing, and caring for his animals. One of his favorite places was the walking path lined with daylilies that he lovingly called his “peaceful pathway.” It was a special place where he could slow down, enjoy God’s creation, and find a moment of peace. Greg had a personality all his own and enjoyed the simple things in life, including Mountain Dew and Fireballs. His caring heart, love for his family, dedication to his patients, and appreciation for the beauty of the land he called home will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laurie M. (Good) Orr; daughters, Heather (William Gough) Henslee and Breanna Smith; grandchildren, Isabella Gough, Chloe Gough, and Layla Metzler; siblings, Dr. Julia (Clint) Allerton, Dr. Michael (Sienna) Orr, and Deb (Jeff) Burns; sister-in-law, Karla McCoy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Steven and David Orr.
