Elizabeth I. "Beth Ann" Smith, 48 of Heath passed away on March 22, 2026 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 27, 1977 in Columbus, OH to the late David Stanley and Helen Louise (Grubb) Smith, Sr.

Beth Ann was a cement mason for Bechtel Company and was a member of the Local #132 OPCMIA and Steel Edge Women. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and most of all she loved being with her family and friends that she loved so deeply.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Singer, Zachary Smith, Alexia (Luke) Palmer and Nelayah Perez; grandchildren, Rashad, Rayelee, Ahmir, Elias and Isaac; siblings, Christina Smith, Stephanie Cruz, David (Eve) Smith, Jr. and Kristin (Cornell) Lee; best friends, Jodi Breeze, Melody Ellis, Karen Budreau, Zakary Howard, TT Saunders and her lovely Manny; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her best friend, Amber Wright.

The family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. The funeral service will be held at 3pm.
