Elizabeth S. Lee, age 73, of Newark, passed away on September 29, 2025. Elizabeth "Beth" was born on February 16, 1952, in Sadsburyville, PA, to the late Mervin and Esther Mae (Newswanger) Seibel.
Beth had a fulfilling career as a physical therapist in which she enjoyed helping people get better, particularly when she started doing home PT, which allowed her to visit people in their homes. When her children were younger, she supported her children in all their interests from soccer games to attending their musical and theatrical performances.
In later life, Beth enjoyed being a part of the Women's Circle at St. John's United Church of Christ. She was passionate about environmental and wildlife conservation, donating to various ecological groups. She loved animals, especially her cat, Emmy. Beth loved spending time with her family, cooking delicious meals, and playing games.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Owen Lee, as well as three children, Jennifer (Jacob) Lee, Anthony "Tony" Lee, and Christopher "Chris" Lee; grandchildren, Audrey Lee and Isabel "Izzy" Lee; sisters, Joyce Brubacher, Judy Zimmerman, Jean Snyder, Jerrene Zimmerman and Karen Sensenig.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, David Lee.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 9 – 11 am at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, where her service will immediately follow at 11 am with Dr Stephen Swisher officiating. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens.
